xprof: default sync daemon to fs to work around MPI sync bug#509

The MPI sync daemon currently hits an MPI bug. Make the FS daemon the default when THAPI_SYNC_DAEMON is unset, instead of preferring the MPI daemon whenever its binary is present. The MPI daemon stays available explicitly via THAPI_SYNC_DAEMON=mpi. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com>
